We are independent nationwide Fire Safety Surveyors of Passive Fire Protection.
Each Passive Fire Protection inspection is undertaken and measured against industry standards with knowledge of Manufacturer’s Installation Specifications and Fire Test Evidence.
Our surveys and inspections of passive fire inspections are accredited and certified by NAPFIS.
We are also a member of NAFDI to ensure all our Fire Door Inspections are third-party accredited. Giving you peace of mind that our inspections we do will be to the highest standard.

Our
Fire Door Inspections
The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 will make it a legal requirement from 23 January 2023 for responsible persons for all multi-occupied residential buildings in England with storeys over 11 metres in height to:
Undertake quarterly checks of all fire doors (including self-closing devices) in the common parts; and,
Undertake – on a best endeavour basis – annual checks of all flat entrance doors (including self-closing devices) that lead onto a building’s common parts.
We carry out inspections of installed fire door sets in existing or new buildings we inspect all types of fire doors in all types of buildings whether domestic or commercial, we will ensure your fire doors are inspected to manufacturers specifications and to industry standards.

Compartmentation surveys
The scope of a Fire Compartmentation Survey will typically include: – An inspection of the overall condition of the existing fire compartments. • An assessment of the condition and effectiveness of the sealing of wall/soffit interfaces. • An inspection of existing fire seals applied to service penetrations through fire compartment lines.
Our experts can conduct comprehensive, non-destructive fire compartmentation surveys and deliver detailed reports on the condition of walls and floors, roof voids, wall voids, risers and shafts, floor voids and basements. The report will outline the existing condition and adequacy of the fire compartmentation measures, and where necessary recommend improvements that should be undertaken to make your buildings compliant with statutory requirements and best practice guidance, or to meet a specific business resilience objective.
- An assessment of the compartmentation strategy for the premises
- A comprehensive visual inspection of the existing fire compartmentation provisions; which includes floors, walls, roof voids, basements, floor and ceiling voids, risers and shafts where present
- An assessment of the condition of compartmentation and subsequent defects in accordance with relevant British Standards, Approved Document B of the Building Regulations and any site-specific fire strategy information made available
- A clear action plan which outlines locations of defects, photographic evidence and suggested remedial actions to be taken
- Marking up of existing floor plans (if made available) to indicate the locations of compartment walls and floors
